Sing With You

Poetry By, J. M. Lilin

Every day is the same.

Until I hear your voice.

Ukulele strings strumming.

The melody of a poetic mind.

The melody of a broken soul.

I feel the words that erupt from your lips.

I understand the idea that drives your purpose.

A trampoline on stage and you are above us all.

Singing to the sky; singing to creation.

I wonder what it must feel like;

To scream those emotions for those that cower.

For I hope to one day sing with you.
