This world.
Split between something icy and scorching.
Harsh, yet with so many prepossessing elements.
A miscellaneous combination to create a canvas.
A canvas enveloped in vines that eventually reveal;
Reveal blossoms of a rare, patient beauty.
Eyes beneath lashes that hold a color.
An ocean full of creatures, free to adventure.
Elevations to reach and regard over an impossible landscape.
Split between something sweet and wild.
This world is occasionally difficult to comprehend.
For it has so much to give and show.
So many elements that could seize sanity.
For it has such a rare beauty.

Like how you can back to this line but switched the ending: “Split between something icy and scorching.”; “Split between something sweet and wild.” This poem reminds me that there is beauty in opposites and variety.

Exactly what I was going for. I don’t believe that there is such thing as beautiful or ugly, or such thing as good or evil. There is just always something in between that is beautiful and a part of us.
