I could get lost in the songs that I play.
Romantic thoughts playing over and over.
I have never stopped being hopeless when it comes to you.
I could watch the way your shoulders shake when you laugh.
I could watch you all day but now I am thinking it over.
I watch your forest green eyes whenever I can.
The way they light up when you smile
I should probably forget since you do not exist.
I could watch the way you stare off into space when lost in thought.
It just hurts to know I can never ask you what it is you are wondering.
I know I should not be hopeful for something not real.
I cannot ask you to belong to me if you are not there.
I cannot tell you my name if you are not a figure to others.
Your forest green eyes are not in this reality.
I am selfish to spend so much time with imaginary.
Only no one will know if I pretend for one more day.
