With each dying wish, a new constellation is born.
With each dying wish, a new place of creation will come to life.
The truth is that I cannot stop thinking of you and your starry eyes.
For I have gone away beneath the ground.
You visit me now, more than you used to.
Now that I can no longer speak or meet your eyes.
Why could you have not brought these tears and flowers for me;
When I was walking and laughing beneath the sun’s rays.
Loneliness I sense inside of your words and loneliness had trapped me before I left.
Why could we have not found the key which was clearly meant to be.
We could have found forms of happiness while we explored questions together.
Barriers are meant for our own good, but it seems it is barriers that left us alone.
If we could start over again, would you have brought me your gaze before.
If we could start over again, would you let me know about your day before.
At least promise me one thing that will keep me okay;
In our next life, promise me you will bring flowers while I am still alive.

Jade… it’s really beautiful. I have a rose one too, in the waiting… and was so strange to see your star just then, and then see this, when I was just thinking of it. We are all interconnected. Indeed, the bringing of flowers while alive is important… at least if nothing is expected in return. Beautiful work. 🌹

I really like that the voice is from beyond and yet the living are quieter. It adds another layer; a remove. Also, the allusion to When You Wish Upon A Star is ace and subtle 🙂
