Falling Star

Poetry, By J. M. Lilin

His mind was fragile yet as beautiful as a world.

The stars and moon may have been bright, but his eyes were like gems.

She would tell her secrets to the stars and when he smiled with his nebula eyes;

It was as if he knew every spoken word that had ever left her lips.

Only when his mind opened up to a poetic form of song.

It was told that even the stars had to fall sometimes.
