Thinking Sky

There is a mood after the moon.

A dream that comes even without the stars.

However far it must take for you to see.

That I am falling in a deep love with you.

I do not usually write my words in romance.

Though it is hard to not want to write and I cannot.

For every poem I write is all about you.

I used to find my inspiration in the sky above.

Where the clouds would take the shape of reality.

Only now I see shades of sky that remind me only of you.

Pink morning like the blush in your cheeks.

Grey like the sweater you wrapped around me.

Blue like the reflection in your caring gaze.

Then the sun falls and out comes the lights.

The black of the night shows a darkness you led me from.

The stars will sing a melody of your soul.

When I wake up, they ask me what I am thinking about.

They wonder why I cannot hide my many smiles.

I am thinking of you as I am thinking sky.

The stars, the moon – midnight all together. The night is darkness but darkness can be so beautiful. I’m happy to hear you enjoyed something I enjoyed writing so much.
