He is the shadow that you think is your own.
Following your every step and finding out your favorite place.
He has got your soul in a case and he has got your smile in his mind.
He knows the darkest thoughts, not just of you, but the entire world.
He is a man not to be reckoned with in the latest nights.
If the stars came out, his eyes would still be brighter.
Beware his voice for it is the hypnotizing melody of midnight.
Snaps his fingers and you will be finding yourself as his army.
When he walks, it is through the grace of the storm.
Lighting runs through his blood and thunder drives his heart.
The pearl scar on his face is a sign of who he has become.
He has been thrown to the wolves and he will take you down too.
Let me tell you the tale of the man who has seen your bad dream.
Let me introduce you to the prince of darkness.

So i’m Walking Through A Dark
Parking Lot At 2 AM Pushing
60 Passing A Group of
Young Men Yelling
Out of Their Car

The Dance Hall Earlier
That Night Dancing In Heaven
A ‘Trump Voter’ ‘A Big Farm

Staring
At My

Drunk He
Tries To Challenge
My Dance Running
Into The Water the
Ocean Of My Body
Falling on His Butt
i Reach Out
A Hand To Help
Him Up He Turns
Around And Says i
Need My Butt Whipped
By Him Perhaps You
Saw ‘The Movie’ Yet
Actually There Are
No Words
At All Just
Perfectly Still
Body Language
And A Gaze Even
Through Shades That
Clearly Says With No
Doubt “Have You Ever
Danced With The Devil
In The Pale Moonlight”
No
Different
Than The
“Chi”
Of A Cat
Immediately
Before He Pounces
On A Mouse Or Perhaps
A Lion And Much Larger
Prey So He Runs Away
And Brings

Over 6 Feet Tall And
Weighing More Than

So i Gracefully
Walk Over
To The

And Had Him
Remove
Them
From My
Heaven For
You See When
You’ve Been The

Wow, that was a super effective work! Reminds me of the Dark Man from Stephen King’s the Stand. Really well done!

That is a high compliment – Steven King is a clever author and it’s funny since I took a quiz when I was younger and Steven King was my twin author.

Wow! That is interesting. You must have a touch of the creative writing horror gene in you. I really got a scary vibe from this poem but in a good way!

It could be. I’ve always had a taste for the strange. Tim Burton films are a favorite of mine. Haha, thank you.

Tim Burton, yes! That sure is a bit of difference or strangeness. And that kind of brings a unique sensibility to your writing. Awesome.
