I know that it is quite a bit to ask for.

I am asking for a space in your mind and a space in your time.

I am hoping you will think of me, maybe once today and tomorrow.

I know that it is quite a bit to ask for.

Though, I would simply love to see you smile.

My whole world is overcome with clouds until your eyes light up once more.

I know that it is quite a bit to ask for.

If you would just come with me for one more day.

I could help you fall in love with life and it’s wonderous questions.

I know that is quite a bit to ask for.

I just want those words in your eyes to become a reality.

Speak out loud in honesty and I promise you I will understand. 

I know that it is quite a bit to ask for.

I am hoping that you will forget your doubts and daydream a while.

Possibly bring me a wildflower you found, as I crossed your mind.

I know that is quite a bit to ask for.

If you could just end your mysteries and let me know where to find you.

I suppose the truth is that I wish you could just simply exist.
