Stars Like A Dandelion

Poetry By, J. M. Lilin

A mansion of radiance lit through windows of a galaxy.

Spreading out farther than a canyon of constellations.

Gleaming similar to orbs of vivid nebula eyes.

Astronomy of blossoming personalities.

Marvelous and splendid in the night as we rest.

A blanket of protection to ward off the darkness.

Wake up!

Go out into the night!

Smile at the stars!

For when you make a wish before you fall asleep;

Midnight will hear your gentle, honest words;

Your dream will be cast out into the lit-up sky.

Your wish will spread out the stars.

Spread out the stars like a dandelion.
