Symphony Of Words

Poetry By, J. M. Lilin

The melody of instruments and voices.

It calms me more than any art in the world.

Sound over silence to keep my world spinning.

Inspired into becoming creative.

Into writing my own words, only silent instead of a song.

Wishing I could meet the Creator of this world.

For when I enter the woods, I feel a different kind of rhythm.

A song impossible to forge as humans.

Sand like the static in the pause of thought.

Violin grass swaying back and forth.

Blossoming flowers like a sprinkle of background.

Trees with leaves that fall with a voice.

Rain as the soulful eyes of emotion.

Thunder like the heart in the beat of a drum.

Then after all these impossible gifts;

The Creator paused to give me my own imagination.

To build my own worlds like the melody of His stars.

Now I will wake in the night, to write up a story.

With a similar melody in a dreamy symphony of words.

A very interesting direction. You focused on the idea that you can find peace in sound as much as you can find it in quietude. What a great philosophical poetry! I appreciate your thought process here. And actually I, too, find the quiet in the noise. Love this!

Yes! Oh my goodness, Bejamin. I seriously look forward to your comments. You always grasp onto what my thoughts are. I grew up with many, many brothers and I am so accustomed to noise that sometimes lots of noise calms me. Quiet can be really relaxing but when I am in it for too long, I start to feel like everything is not okay. I’m so glad you can understand.
Thank you so much for reading my work and leaving such intriguing comments.

That’s very interesting to learn about you, having many brothers. It’s almost like that awkwardness of silence feel, perhaps. It seems balance could be best. Too much of either leaves us unsteady. Always enjoy reading your perspective. You have a wonderful mind and you have wonderful words. Stay safe!
