Always And Forever

She seemed to always remember. Always remember the way the sun reflected in his eyes. Flecks of gold dazzling through and through. Golden perfection that matched his dark, wild hair. Gorgeous and magnetizing, she thought to herself.

“What?” he asks, noticing her gaze.

“Nothing,” she shakes her head, smiling. He smiles as well and looks back up at the clouds above the pine trees. She loved his smile. How precious it was. How she wished he could smile forever and ever, just for her.

“It is so beautiful,” he says, “Just like you.”

She looks up at the sky as well. Shades of blue, spreading out in a river of air. Tufts of white cotton, seeming like a landscape of softness. Hovering in a courtesy of freedom. Gliding in the solitude of daydreams.

“How could anyone not love you,” he continues. Then he pauses, his eyes gleaming with the brilliance of the day. She finds herself staring at him again. At his chiseled jaw. His eyes dark, yet, so bright. Locks of hair pushed away from his face. His smile on the verge of showing, always.

“What is it you love?” he asks, meeting her ocean blue eyes.

She laughs. A laugh like music. A laugh that even the fairies would approve of. A laugh that made flowers sway and dance in the wind.

She loved too many things to answer fully.

She loved the mornings. When the sun would rise, and an individual had a chance to try again. When everything was shown in a new light of a new day and soft pinks and oranges would fill the sky like a canvas of colors.

She loved midnight. When Miss Midnight’s freckles shone brightest, like orbs of inspiration. Hanging down like holiday lights, lined up for wish after wish. A melody of darkness, a melody of motivation to write.

She loved the sound of rain. It’s fresh drops of coolness caressing the leaves of the trees. Swirling and twirling in the wind, only to hit a window and make a lullaby of content for those attempting to fall asleep.

She loved the ocean. The overlapping power in shades of blue. Creatures deep and shallow in forms of wonder. Orbs and castles hidden beneath, like a mind of dreams, both dark and sweet.

She loved the woods. Like crowds that were not overwhelming, but comforting. Leaves that tapped her on the shoulder with a kiss that tasted of nature.

She loved flowers. How they would sprout and bloom in colors of fortune. Vivid colors that were a portrait of what was to come. How those petals would develop even when they knew they weren’t the most perfect.

She loved memories. How she could enter the attic in her mind and spin together the web of precious moments. Of love and hate. Of happiness and depression. Of everything she knew. Of everything that made her human.

She loved writing. How she could manipulate simple words and transform them into something true and honest. Something she couldn’t say out loud but instead a sanctuary to become creativity itself.

She loved daydreaming. She loved to leave the world she belonged in and become an adventurer in places that were unseen. She wanted to become a character. A creation that was neither formal, nor informal. She just wanted to be a dream.

There was to much dancing around in her mind. It took her several moments to answer. Her thoughts were like a train. I love laughter. I love music. I love morning. I love midnight. I love rain. I love the ocean. I love the woods. I love the flowers. I love the sky. I love the stars. I love autumn. I love nature. I love flower pedals and rain drops. I love kittens and cozy blankets. I love staying up late and watching movies. I love libraries and books. I love the lights of a city at night. I love wondering what it would be like to do the impossible. I love memories and thoughts. I love adventure. I love writing and daydreaming. I love, love.

“I love you,” she says, her eyes full of a blissful heaven. A felicity that reflected the freedom of the sky. “I love you always and forever.”

Really like that description: “His smile on the verge of showing, always.” This is really interesting also: “She wanted to become a character. A creation that was neither formal, nor informal.” That was cool how you went through the things of love and then ended with the affection for the person. Nice creation!
