Song For The Summer

I wanted to write you a poem, something precious and sweet.

I wanted to give you my soul, through creativity and wonder

Simply words can say it all.

So, I gave you these words, through paper and ink.

I wrote these words with my heart and soul.

Just for you, these words were meant.

To tell you just how much you mean to me.

How I think of you in every awakening hour.

How you rest inside my dreams at night.

So, I gave you these words, through paper and ink.

I wrote these words with my heart and soul.

Only, I do not know what my words should write.  

I suppose a song for the summer will have to do.
